World Environment Day
Today is World Environment Day and something that is close to my heart. We all should be doing what we can to help our planet and our environment. We are destroying it at an alarming rate and we all need to contribute a little more to it.
Last Thursday we went out for a little walk, play and dinner at Bramber Castle. Its ruins of an old 1076 castle but there is a lot of green there. Its so beautiful. But there was quite a bit of rubbish been left from people over the course of the day. Its so sad, so as we were walking round, we picked up most of the rubbish. This makes sure that no animals get hurt and also we are doing our bit for the environment.
When you next go out, just pick up bits of rubbish. You will be helping save the planet immensely. Especially on the beach. Go and sit there gazing out to the sea, looking at our world and how much it helps us to reconnect with our own bodies and how it really is such a beautiful place to live. Lets look after it.
Maybe walk to somewhere today instead of driving or plant a tree or wild flower meadow in your garden for more oxygen to be produced and the insects, birds and pollinators all to feel free and allow our planet to grow that little bit more.
Just take some time today to really be grateful for all that we have around us. Breathe in the fresh clean air, listen to the birds, listen to the wind. One day this might not all be here so take some time out of your busy day to really feel connected to mother earth. She is truly our biggest healer and we need her as much as she needs us. Be kind.
