Practice Self Care Daily!

Now I know what you are thinking, 'I don't have time for self care, I'm so busy with work that I cant take time off'.

Well I'm not asking you to take time off. I'm asking you to take stock of what you've got and celebrate the little wins when you witness growth. Notice how long its taken you to keep going and then to get to the finished product.

Celebrate milestones. Its also taken a lot of hard work, time, effort, stress, anxiety and so much more to get to where you are now. Celebrate this and your serotonin levels (calming hormones) will be knocking on your door pushing the cortisol levels (stress hormone) out.

Don't put to much pressure on yourself to do good work but make that work productive. Make it so there aren't any mistakes in it. Know that you have worked your arse off to get to this point.

Self care is also about treating yourself. So take yourself out for a coffee and cake. Don't worry if you are on a strict diet etc. You are allowed to come off the band wagon every now and again. One cheat day wont hurt.

Learning something new is always a great way to meet new people and to find something else that you enjoy that gets your creative juices flowing. Try out different things. Go and take a dance lesson or go and be a crew member on a sail boat. Just go and try something new. You wont know until you try it if you like it.

Basking in nature will allow you to really connect back to mother earth. If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that this is one of my favourite things to do. There is so much to be learnt from mother nature and you can find all your answers from her. You've just got to be patient and let her speak.

Drop the 🤩 emoji below if this spoke to you.
