Notice The Little Things In Life


Sundays are for a day of rest and reflection. How's your week been? Well I've really enjoyed my week of half term and no home schooling, I'm dreading tomorrow but I know if I am prepared mentally then I will be ok.


How do you prepare mentally for something that is making your body anxious? Well take a walk in nature, close your eyes and listen to the sounds around you. When I let our cat out this morning at 6.30am some of the birds were already up. I closed my eyes and was transported back to the summer last year. Spring is certainly on its way. Open your door this morning, close your eyes and breathe. Breathe in the stillness, breathe in the calm, breathe in the fresh air. Know that better things are to come, they are just waiting for when they are totally ready.


If you are struggling right now, know that the universe has your back. Go into nature and look at all the tiny signs of spring starting to happen. Look how they have gone away for the winter, they never died, they just went to sleep and did the bare minimum to stay alive. There is new growth everywhere. Take a leave out of mother natures book and if you feel a little unsettled, go and sit in the wood or feel the grass between your toes. Connect back to mother earth. You will then start to notice more and more around you. You may notice different noises, different smells, a white feather on a path you are walking on. (A single white feather means that someone is protecting you and looking after you, they also provide encouragement and let you know that the energy around you is working in your favour). Know that whatever is going on in your life right now, you can get through it.


Talking is the best form of medicine if you are struggling, even if its just to a teddy or a tree (no one is going to judge you) Or journalling. Every now and then our brains need to do a brain dump, there's only so much information we can hold and sometimes its to much. Write down your fears, your mental blocks, your excitement, anything you want to and you will feel so good afterwards. Have some inspirational cards around the house for you to physically see everyday to help you feel better. Or listen to my Daily reminders on social media.

So so true in my life right now and it can be for you to if you just believe that the universe has got your back. Trust in the process and believe.
