Monday Morning Motivation

Know that this week you have got this, no matter what is going on in your life. Start this week off on the right foot by starting with a positive mindset. Now I know you might have the Monday morning blues so lets change that around. You might even be going through a horrible time in your life right now and you cant see a way out. Well whatever it is and you don't have to tell me, know you can do this.

I want you to think of 3 things that make you feel happy. Where ever you are reading this close you eyes, soften your jaw, push your shoulders down away from your ears and take yourself off to your happy place. That could be anywhere that you feel your most comfortable and calm. Take in 3 deep breaths here and remember how you felt while you were there. Calm, happy, content and free. Remember this place when your day is going down the pan. You can always bring yourself back from the deep dark place in your mind. This works a treat all the time. It releases your serotonin and dopamine hormones. They are your calming hormone and pleasure hormone, which when this is released you start to immediately feel good about yourself.

Another way to make sure your Monday morning gets off to a good start is to do a morning yoga stretch. Click below for a FREE 6 minute morning stretch to really get your endorphins flowing and make you feel good right from the start of the week. Its only 6 minutes so there is no excuse. Even if you've got children, let them join in to. They will enjoy it and it makes them more relaxed before school to.

Just thought I'd share with you today that its Brianna's 4th Birthday today. Where have these years gone. She's growing up to be the sweetest, caring, strong, independent little girl I know. I am so proud of her. Happy birthday little lady.
