It's Monday, Whoop Whoop.
Are you dreading the thought of another week at work? Another weeks doing the same stuff, thinking the same, working the same? Well today is Monday, that means its a fresh start or can be. It just depends on how you look at it. Make sure you take breaks even if it is just for 5 minutes, that will really help your mindset. Write down these things on a piece of paper and have it where you can see them. Say to yourself every morning:
- I Can Do It
- I Don't Have To Please Everyone
- I Am Allowed To Take A Break
- I Am Stronger Than My Excuses
- When In Doubt, Green Tea (or whatever your preferred drink of choice is)
Know that today and this week is going to be a good one. You've got this. Remember if you are struggling with whatever it might be then know you just need to talk to someone, write it in a journal or say it into your phone to get it all out. Go outside and exercise and get some fresh air. Know that whatever it is will not last forever and there is a way out.
Even just 5 minutes of yoga will help you to move your body, releasing the serotonin (calming hormone) and decreasing Cortisol (stress hormone). Stretching will open up your muscles and allow the oxygen to flow into them, giving them a boost they need for you to feel better about yourself.
