Slow Your Heart Rate Down, Your Body will Thank You For It!!

Take stock of how you feel within your body right now? How is it feeling? Can you feel your heart rate rising? Can you feel the pumping within your chest right now? Is it like this when you have a big meeting and you are anxious or very nervous?

I know by going into that boardroom, your palms get sweaty, your heart rate rises, your breathing becomes shallow, you might start to feel faint. You have impostor syndrome saying in your head you cannot do this. Back away, you aren't good enough.

Well lets put these little gremlins to bed shall we.

You are strong enough.

You are good enough.

You know your subject inside and out.

Let go of all these negative thoughts and feelings by closing your eyes, and visualise yourself on a calm deserted beach. By doing this your heart rate starts to drop as your body is releasing calming chemical hormones. Your body knows exactly what it is doing right now.

Your palms start to feel better. Your body temperature drops to a normal level. Your breathing is activated to become normal and by doing this the blood cells are getting more oxygen which is filling your lungs with the right levels. This in turn then starts to get filtered up to the brain, allowing you to feel calmer, more relaxed and ready for whatever the boardroom has in store for you.

If your heart rate stays high, this can then lead to so many medical issues, so by doing this everyday, you will live a long and healthy life.

You've got this. Let your body be there for you. It knows you better than anyone. You've just got to trust in the process and believe me, there is magic to be had inside.
