On Demand Vinyasa Flow Yoga Classes

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a series of poses put together to form a sequence in time with breath work. For example inhaling into one pose and exhaling into another pose. Vinyasa Flow yoga heats up the body and gets the blood flowing around creating energy and a buzzing sensation within the body.

 

These types of classes can get very sweaty as we are releasing the toxins while moving through flow work but you will feel so energised afterwards. Vinyasa Flow builds up strength and endurance within the body. It also improves stability and balance and lowers stress and anxiety through breath work.

Beginner to Intermediate class with some standing postures, balancing, focusing on legs and hips in this class. Quite a few Downward dogs and Sun Salutations but go at your own pace. Seated postures to including spinal twists, Shoulder openers, lower back openers, and shoulder stands. Ending with 10 minutes Savasana at the end.

Warm ups consisting of spinal stretches, side body stretches and a gentle all over body warm up. Moving into Sun Salutations, side angle stretches, all upper body moves and leg strength yoga poses. Also consisting of some hip openers, lower back stretches and an all round lovely stretch. Ending with 10 minutes of Savasana (relaxation).

Intermediate flow. Consisting of warm ups though cat and cow pose, balancing table top, hip openers. Moving into sun salutations, warrior flows, chair pose flows. Hamstring and quad stretches. The seated and reclined poses to open up through the hips, bridge pose, spinal twists for a supple spine and ending with 10 minutes in Savasana (relaxation).

Beginner - Intermediate class. Starting off slowly and warming up the body with seated spinal twists, cat/cow, wrist stretches. An all over whole body stretch, working the legs, building up strength and stretching inside of the thighs. Most areas that get missed. Targeting the side body in this class, ending with 10 minutes of Savasana (relaxation).

Beginner to intermediate class. Gentle all over body warm up and then into some sun salutations. Working though the body with leg poses, hip openers, standing balances and adding in seated hip openers like pigeon pose and low lunge. Some core work in there to via Boat pose, seated spinal twists and 10 minutes of relaxation at the end.

Beginner to intermediate class. Starting off slowly warming up the body and then going into a flow movement of postures from sun salutations, hip openers, side body stretches. A few Downward Facing Dogs in here to. Rest in child's pose and the seated poses, Seated forward bends, Spinal twists, Boat pose for core and reclined spinal twists to end in Savasana relaxation for 10 minutes.

Beginners to Intermediate flow, concentrating on the side body, warming up the spine, back and hip area. Incorporating standing and seated postures, twists, balances, wide legged forward fold, shoulder stands and reclined poses for an all over body stretch  and ending with 10 minutes of Savasana relaxation.

Beginner to intermediate flow with some gentle warm up poses, standing postures, sun salutations, warrior flows. If you have practiced yoga before then by all means try this one while pregnant. If you haven't then consult your midwife but also just take it at your own pace. You will be fine. Just no twists, listen to your body and move with it. If it doesn't feel right then come away and rest. Ending with 5 minutes of Savasana relaxation.
